In business and sales, クロージング(closing) refers to the process of entering a contract with a customer. It is the last step in guiding a customer to buy the company’s service when they are interested but still on the fence. Specifically, closing refers to the entire approach of leading customers to the decision to either buy or not buy a service. The closing process ends when a contract is signed or a sale is made.
The English equivalent is “closing a deal/sale/contract.”
クロージングトーク (closing talks) are conversations held to convince customers to sign a contract.
例:今日のA社と打ち合わせでクロージングできたら、今月の売上目標が達成できます。
