Nippon Shigoto.com, Website for Foreign Job Hunters, to Improve its Services

Goodman Service, the company that develops Nippon Shigoto.com (a job hunting service for foreign residents in Japan), announced in November that it will be adding new improvements for supporting foreign job seekers.

The company will be further strengthening its support for visa and change of status applications, writing Japanese style resumes, and its advice for planning for job interviews. In addition, it will also be hiring more foreign staff to provide better native language support in English, Chinese, Korean, and other languages.

Goodman Service already provides correspondence in English and Chinese for applicants who aren’t proficient in Japanese. It’s actively trying to support people who have just arrived in Japan and those who have trouble with the language.

The number of foreign residents in Japan has continued to reach record highs for the past 3 years. More foreigners are searching for work in Japan, and this has led to an increased need for services that help them find work by offering visa process support, helping with Japanese resumes and interviews, and more.

Since Goodman Service started up its service to support foreign talent in 2015, its number of registered members has increased by 23 times in 3 years.

For people who are unfamiliar with the visa process or who want to get help with their job search in their native language, Nippon Shigoto.com is an excellent resource.
