Miidas

What is “Miidas”?

Miidas is a job-seeking support app launched by the Miidas company in April 2019, a subsidiary of a major staffing enterprise Persol Holdings. In a mere 5-minute registration process, your work history will be sent to more than 40,000 companies, including major Japanese enterprises and popular overseas companies. Once the registration process is complete, you will receive interview invitations from companies interested in hiring you, saving a lot of time on screening. The app also calculates your market value as a job-seeker, based on the result of career changes experienced by other users with a similar job history and background to you. In addition to this, you can choose to set preferences for interview invitations, so the app is also recommended for those who are open to changing jobs once the opportunity arises. The app is available from the Google Play Store and the App Store.

1. Your job history sent to 40,000 top-rated companies in 5 minutes

Using Miidasu, users can send their job history to more than 40,000 top-rated companies in a mere 5 minutes after registration. The only thing users need to do is to wait for interview invitations, instead of actively looking for jobs, meaning they can save a lot of time.

2. Receive interview invitations soon after registration

Receiving interview invitations means you passed the screening process, so you can move on to the interviews if you’re interested. About 60% of users received invitations soon after registration, including some who received more than 100 invitations. Nearly 99% of users received at least 1 invitation after the registration, so it’s more or less guaranteed that you will find companies interested in you. Moreover, there’s no deadline to reply to these invitations, so you only need to apply when you’re ready.

3. Get an idea of your own market value

The Miidas app calculates your market value based on the invitation record of other users who had a similar job history and background to you, as well as the number of invitations you received. Knowing your market value is highly useful, even when you aren’t planning to change career immediately.

4. Check what kind of companies are interested in you

The app provides real-time information of companies that are searching for new employees or checking your job history, and this could help broaden your thinking to include kinds of companies that you had never previously considered working at.

5. Create a faster and more efficient process by setting working condition preferences

Users can choose to set their preferences for working conditions before applying for jobs, which makes the process faster and more efficient, and prevents users from receiving interview invitations from companies that don’t match their preferences.
